Akshata – South Asia Access (SAA) alumni, a nurse in the District Government hospital shares her exp

“Today was my first shift in the Covid ward, I was very scared, and Yesterday Elish uncle and Aruna aunty were chatting with me, encouraging me with the word of God. As I put on the PPE I kept saying Psalm 23 aloud and Psalm 91 (some verses which I knew). After an hour, I started feeling restless; I just couldn’t do an easy job. I found it so difficult. I couldn’t breathe properly with the PPE. It was difficult but God gave me the grace to complete my duty today- I came out saying ” Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life” (Ps 23:6). It was a horrible experience though. But so thankful to all who were praying for me.
